Hackney's Crime and Disorder Reduction Strategy 2005Our response to the 2005 consultation (108KB PDF) Hackney's Crime and Disorder Reduction Strategy 2001The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 requires every local authority to draw up a crime and disorder strategy in consultation with the local community. Hackney's first Crime and Disorder Reduction Strategy went out for consultation in 1998. Hackney Cyclists' response resulted in a 'Safer Highways Action Plan' being included under the chapter on Motor Vehicle Crime. In 2001 Hackney published an audit of its strategy to date, inviting comments from the local community, which would form the basis of its strategy for the next three years.
