Your ideas count The Hackney group of the London Cycling Campaign meets every month to decide what needs doing and follow the progress of projects and campaigns. We always welcome new faces. If you're not there, we won't know what you think!

When?

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm.

Where?

On Wednesday 2nd July 2008 we will be holding our annual general meeting at a different venue. For details see our diary.

For our general monthly meetings we meet at Marcon Court Estate community hall, corner of Amhurst Road and Marcon Place, E8. Near Hackney Downs and Hackney Central stations. Streetmap location.

You can bring your bike into the meeting room.

Accessibility note: the meeting room is up two short flights of stairs. There is unfortunately no lift.

All members of the LCC in Hackney welcome. (Interested non-members are welcome to attend, but may not vote). Hope to see you there!

Hackney Streetscene cycle liaison meetings

Regular liaison meetings with LB Hackney's Streetscene department were re-established in 2006 and are held every six weeks or so. These are reported to our monthly meetings.

There is an archive of minutes from the regular cycle liaison meetings which were previously held up until the time of the authority's financial meltdown in 1998.
