Saturday 22Curtain Road Car Free Day Our Car Free Day event is going ahead in Curtain Road. If you can help out with making this a success, for instance by volunteering as a steward, please email Trevor. We're also looking for sponsors for the event, as there is no funding coming from the Council. Sunday 17Love Lea Valley
Ride up the Lea Valley National Cycle Network route (30 miles). Start 10am by the Cutty Sark, Greenwich (or pick it up as it cycles past Hackney - be at Princess of Wales Pub, Lea
Bridge Road (south side of the road where it crosses the river) by 11.30 to join Greenwich group). Organised by Greenwich LCC www.greenwichcyclists.org.uk
Wednesday 20 Big Country Breakfast 7.30am-9.30am. If you use the Market Porters route through London Fields, start your journey a little early so you
can stop for some proper coffee and a bite to eat courtesy of the LCC. Even if you don't go this way in the morning, come along anyway! Exact location TBC, but we'll make sure it's
well signed.
Thursday 21 Little City
Breakfast 7.30am-9.30am. At the notorious Shacklewell Lane junction we'll be following up our Valentine Day card-handout with coffee and croissants (or maybe baci).
Saturday 23 The Great Eastway Cycle Summit and
Picnic Jointly organised by Newham, Hackney, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets and Redbridge LCCs. All welcome. 11am onwards, Lee Valley Cycle Circuit, Eastway E15
Sunday 24 Bloomsbury Bikefest 11am - 5pm,
Brunswick Square WC1. A hands-on expo of all things cycle: recumbents, trikes, training, obstacle course, Dr Bike, pedicabs and guided tours of what some regard as the best cycle
facilities in central London.

Saturday 19London Fields Festival
Come along to this new festival, which runs from noon to 10 pm. We're running an LCC stall with cycling maps, T shirts etc; Dr Bike stall courtesy of London Fields Cycles.
Saturday 26Family Fun Ride
Start 11:00 am at Town Hall. Cycle around quiet and scenic routes in Hackney, ride ends at 12:30 at cafe. This is the last family fun ride for
the time being.
